We write this blog specifically for families, but with an expanded definition. Two friends traveling together – a family. A married couple – a family. Parents and children – a family. Three generations – a family. While this specific section is focused on our family, we think you will enjoy and may even be inspired by these experiences.

There are two primary Family sections: Sons and Parents and Genealogy Tourism. Within Sons and Parents, family members, including ourselves, author their own travel-related stories and provide favorite vacation memories and experiences.

Genealogy Tourism is written as a tribute to Missy’s late father, George. What is genealogy tourism? Step One: ancestral research. Step Two: travel to your homeland. Honestly, most people stop here. Step Three: locate and connect with your extended family. Step Four: meet extended family abroad. George accomplished all four steps, including the final one, while in his late 70s. You can do the same thing!
